XD Motion Theater FAQ

We get a lot of questions about our new XD Motion Theater. It's big and colorful, so you can't blame people for being super curious. It's one-of-a-kind, state-of-the-art, and first-in-the-state-(of-Utah). The most common query's are as follows:

Q: What does 'XD' mean?
A: "The chairs move, the wind blows, you wear the 3D glasses..."

Q: How long is it?
A: "It's more like a ride then a movie, between 5 to 10 minutes long..."

Q: I'm still confused...?
A: "It's kind of like StarTours, if you've ever been to Disney Land..."

Q: What kinds of shows are there?
A: "There's four rides, the fast one, the intense one, the fun one, and the new one."

Q: Which one is the best?
A: "I like the Cosmic Coaster, but a lot of people prefer the Haunted Mine."

Q: Is it fun?
A: ABSOLUTELY! You'll want to try every ride and then bring friends to show off this sweet awesome thing you found to do, courtesy of Trafalga.

Balderdash!

Trafalga. What the flip is a "trafalga"?

In a game of Balderdash, you might guess that a "trafalga" is an eccentric poet, like e. e. cummings, or maybe an exotic skin condition transmitted only by orange tucans, or maybe a fashionable toga worn in Pompeii, or maybe the most up-and-coming family fun center in the state of Utah...

If you guessed the last one, you're the champion-dictionary-reading-bluffer! Trafalga Fun Center has been the leading source of entertainment in the Orem/Provo area for the last thirty years, the site of many first dates, family outings, and winning holes of mini golf!

What does the word "trafalga" really mean? No one quite knows, (not even me, the Voice)but rumor has it that on the next round of Balderdash, pick "translated as 'castle in the clouds' from Romanian" to maybe win again...
